Getting Things Done?

I arrange my to do list into projects (typically with a higher-level
organizing principle as well "Marketing" or such like). Then I list
action items inside the projects. I have a column for rank -- the next
action item I assign a "1" priority.
I have an AppleScript which then copies the items with any number in
the rank column to another list that is my "real" to do list.
