That's a generic Cocoa scripting error--doesn't really give any insight 
into the problem[1]. In order for us to figure out what's going on, 
you'd should post the script.

[1] I think I remember an AppleScript engineer on another mailing list 
acknowledging the uselessness of some of the new script error messages 
and suggesting that improving them is on the to do list.
