Hi James,
I'd be quite keen on a "raw XML" import/export, where element names are
outliner entries, attributes are columns, and text content is a note.
Import is a bit more important here, but round-tripping could be a real boon.
I did something similar with XSLT and an old OO plist file format.
Why? I see it as a useful springboard into other display options
(especially OmniGraffle!), and it could be a handy quick-and-dirty XML
editor.

(If you didn't do this yourselves but opened the plugin format, I'd
probably try to code it myself.)
