You should probably also have a look at Shadow Project www.codejedi.com.
It's an XML product and some people are working already to allow back and
forth compatibility for OO 3 when it comes out. Meanwhile, it has a nice
handheld implementation with great filtering and a very decent desktop Beta.
Well worth a look. It's also not very expensive and has very responsive
tech support.
