Hmm. I will postpone my final opinion until I have had my hands on this 
new version but so far I disliked it when software didn't accept OSX's 
look and feel as I don't like to learn recognizing GUI controls on a 
per-application basis. I work with so many apps and with so many apps 
at the same time so I want to reuse my knowledge about the GUI across 
the line. That's my main concern with mozilla apps for instance.

Will there be an option to turn that off at least on-screen? Or is it 
deeply buried in OO3's way of doing things in favor of having 
consistently scaled printing?

Pop-up menus seem to have a different appearance as well... hmm.
