No live links

Hi,

There's so much enthusiasm about have live URL and mailto links on OO 
documents, but I'd like to REMOVE the live links from my document.  Is 
there an escape key or setting so I can remove the live links on them? 
I keep passwords (which are sometimes my email address) and I'd like to 
select, cut, and paste this text instead of it opening my email program 
(for example). Can some be live and others not?
