Concerning animated widgets

... and FYI, I've just committed code to implement this preference.
We don't have UI for it yet (and probably won't for 3.0, but will for
some future release). Starting with the next release should should be
able to issue the following command in Terminal.app to turn off
animations:
defaults write com.omnigroup.OmniOutliner3 OOOutlineViewShouldAnimate
-bool false
or, for Pro:
defaults write com.omnigroup.OmniOutlinerPro3
OOOutlineViewShouldAnimate -bool false
