I'm curious about this. Would a pop-up list column suffice to tag your
elements? If I recall correctly, XSLT could select elements based on
the XML-encoded value of the pop-up "tag". One could even write
applescripts to set the tag value of the currently selected row using
hot-keys.
One other comment on the styles issue: one of my favorite features in
OO3 is the ability to _clear_ styles easily. (I suppose this is in the
OO3 basic version also.) When pulling in text from various web sites,
it's handy to be able to zap its formatting in one quick step.
