Selecting a part of outline for Keynote

Can any kind soul suggest an AppleScript that would allow me to select 
just a part of an outline (parent and kids and grandkids) to export to 
KeyNote (not the entire outline)? Would this be a fairly simple script 
to write or pretty complicated? I just want to be able to select a 
cell/item and its immediate descendents and tell OO3 to export it as a 
keynote file. THanks for any tips!
