OO3: Outlines around selected rows

I find the thin outlines around selected outline items/rows to be visually
unattractive. I'm using the preview of OO3 Pro, beta 5, v104.1.
They make sense to me because they make it more clear that I have one or
more rows selected, vs. the contents of the rows.
However, I just find them unappealing. It's a very minor detail, sure, but
one of the things I liked about previous versions was how the interface just
got out of the way. I actually like these elements better when the document
window is in the background they are greyed out a bit.
If I had to pick out what is nagging at me about these lines, then it would
probably be:
1. The rounded ends seem incongruous in the otherwise very square window.
(I can appreciate that this is an attempt to fit in with Apple's rounded UI
widgets, though.)
2. The default color, at least on my system, feels to dark and not subtle
enough. I can't seem to find a way to change it, and it doesn't exactly
match my system's highlight color, so I don't know where the outline color
comes from.
