attachments - pdf: very cool....

By default OO3 copies the attachment to a new file stored within the
OO3 document bundle. The original file and the attachment are no
longer related, as you discovered. Editing the attachment will not
affect the original, and vice versa.
If you want the attachment to just point to the original, then you need
to hold down the control key while dragging in the attachment. I don't
see anyway to create such a link to the original using the "attachment"
icon.
