You can use Movie.app to play MPEG (it is available on the various
archives). However, there is a small glitch -- OmniWeb invariably
creates the files with the extension .mpg.mpeg. Unfortunately, Movie.app
isn't registered for .mpeg, so you've got to rename them by hand before
they'll open.
I've recompiled a patched version of Movie.app to fix this (simply adding
support .mpeg). It is also triple-fat (movies are much faster on an HP
712/60 than on my old NextDimension).
I'll be sending it to the archives soon (I want to try to contact the
last author first). If anyone on this list wants a copy right away, drop me
a note and I'll email it back to you.
cheers,
