I'm not certain, but my guess would be that it allows you to attach notes to  
bookmark pages for your own reference and convenience. Kind of like the Mosaic  
or Netscape method of attaching notes to pages (or even sound) except in the  
case of OmniWeb it applies to pages saved in the bookmarks browser. The writers  
Mosaic and Netscape (on SGI and other architectures) have something similar that  
you can add at the bottom of a page -- can even attach sound. Kind of a cool  
idea. This info always appears when you visit these pages.
