There seems to be something dangerous inside OmniWeb 0.9.3

Hi all,
on my system (Turbo-Cube, running NS 3.3) I could see some really odd and/or dangerous things after installing and using Omniweb 0.9.3: 

Omniweb seems to destroy some applications (for example Opener.app and GISO.app) if they are called from Omniweb. If I reinstall the applications from scratch all things are ok until I run OmniWeb and the applications are called from OmniWeb then the same thing begins again.

Neither restarting the workspace nor rebooting the whole machine will help.

Any ideas/suggestions?
