For people wanting some additional level of safety, you can change
the command-key option for the "Quit" menu item.  This is what I've
done with Terminal.app, for instance.  Type in the unix command:
     dwrite OmniWeb NXCommandKeys "Quit,Q"
or maybe:
     dwrite OmniWeb NXCommandKeys "Quit,Q,Close Window,W"

I realize this may not be a full solution, but it's something you
can do right now, and I do think it'll help a bit.
