OmniWeb 1.0 gamma is available

The idea with the home page is each organization should create its own.   
Lighthouse's sample page is clearly not what you'd use long-term, but it  
gives you an idea of the kinds of things you can do.  The bookmarks that now  
ship with OmniWeb replace the function of the old start page; they give a  
nice sampling of some good web sites to hit.

To be honest, I asked Lighthouse to design the home page because I didn't  
want people sending me mail asking to be included on it, and I didn't want  
them mad at me if I didn't include them.

I'm sorry you don't like the icons; we had them done by the guy who does  
all of Lighthouse's icons, and I think he does a good job.  I'll forward  
your comments to him, though, and if he agrees maybe we'll see a change for  
1.2.
