One is too many users?

Thanks for coming out with version 1.0.  What I've seen of it  
over a friend's shoulder looks great.

However, when I tried to download it myself, it refused to  
work.  "Too many users".  Mind you, I'm the only one logged  
onto my machine (quack.ma.utexas.edu), but for some reason it  
thinks there are multiple users.

This could be because I downloaded the program twice.  The  
first time I mangled the file while trying to decompress it,  
so I destroyed it and tried downloading again.  Could this be  
the problem?

In any case, any suggestions?
