open url from command line

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but if you have a URL,
anywhere, and highlight it with your mouse, you can select Services in
the menu, and select OmniWeb, then Open URL, and you start a browser
window pointed at the URL you highlighted.  NeXTSTEP's Services is
about the greatest thing in creation.
