Hello,
I want to cheer up the OmniWeb-Team (especially Wil) a little. Just
because so many wishes come in certainly doesn't mean, that a majority
is dissatisfied with OmniWeb. I think you've done a great job and the most
important thing to me is, that someone (better more than just one :-)) really
cares about the product, notices the things that are still wanted and sees
to the program. It has to be alive and well, users shouldn't be ignored as
some other companies do, and it is certainly nice to know about a weighted
'to do' list from its caretakers regardless of how fast it can be implemented.
Bugs should be fixed with top priority, of course, features added as time
allows.
Overall I think, that OmniWeb is an excellent product, which should be
developed to stay ahead of anything else but NetScape!
By the way: I like it more if someone develops a concept (e.g. for HTML) than
being surprised with what the next version of a product can do. I don't like
that with Microsoft and I don't like it with NetScape. After all there's more
than just one or even some CPU-architectures and OS-platforms and data
exchange should be over the/a document type instead of a program/product.
Just some thoughts of mine.
