Adding new features to OmniWeb...

I have been a passive reader of this list for some time now and this is my
first post. The recent release of Netscape 1.1 and the Netscape mania that
seems to be dominating the Web these days urged me to reply. The company I
work for is a Macintosh Dealership and we use NeXT computers for most of
our IP services. I have been urging people here to write HTML documents
within the 2.0 spec so that everyone on the Net can benefit from them.

I would just like to let Wil and the fine folks at OmniGroup know that I
am in total agreement with their approach to adhering to standards. And
when it comes to software, I like many others, am of the opinion conveyed
in the Queen song, "I want it all and want it now!". However, a whimsical
approach to standards implementation is a childish unproductive and might
I add, arrogant approach that assumes a select few are more important than
than the many. This attitude is far too prevalent in the software industry
these days.

Thank you very much for a wonderful product. Products like yours justify
my faith in NEXTSTEP and the community that chooses to use this platform.

Regards,

Paolo...
