Why does OmniWeb tell me there are too many users?

2. Based on my experience, I would guess it looks at all IP addresses that  
agree with yours in the first three bytes. Since my IP address is  
130.108.136.118, it looks at all addresses beginning with 130.108.136. This is  
done even if the machines are not linked by a Netinfo network.
1. I don't know technical details of how it's done, but I don't imagine it's  
terribly difficult to program.
3. There is probably no practical way other than buying a license. Your best  
best is to find out who else is using it and see if you can coordinate times of  
use.
