problems retrieving a Gopher menu

When I try to retrieve the directory of Canadian Gopher servers, from
U-Minnesota, OmniWeb appears to succesfully load the menu.  But
immediately after displaying the new menu, it pops up a panel that says:
"Request Failed - Can't Access Document ...", and the display returns to
the previous menu.  I've seen this before with other gopher menus.
