html2textbook?

Hello:

Has anyone got any experience to share about converting html text into a text book?

I have to maintain drug & poison monographs as ascii text in Sybase for - (1)ascii text file distribution (2)html via a perl filter,  
and (3)a printed text book.  I would like to convert the html directly into some sort of camera ready text for the printers but can't  
seem to find any way to do this.  Suggestions?
