URL Text Field

A minor suggestion: could URLs entered in the text field at the top of a
browser window be interpreted relative to the URL of the document currently
displayed in the window?

eg if the window is displaying
	http://foo.com/bar/
then entering some/path would display
	http://foo.com/bar/some/path
while entering /some/path would display
	http://foo.com/some/path
Of course, absolute URLs such as http://some.where.else/ would still be valid.
(I think these are the same rules as apply to URLs found in a document?)

I would find this very useful when testing documents/cgi-scripts on my server.
