I aploogize for the reference, but when I installed  
Netscape on my son's powerbook I noticed that as it  
dowloaded images or text, it kept a performance meter  
running indicating the throughput bps (baud) ariving.

It does give you something to look at while waiting and for  
those who are always performance minded (regarding their  
network or equipment) is a nice feature.

I assume it would be simple to implement and I recommend  
consideration for the next release.
