funky Warp-speed stp sign behavior

The same happens on my SparcStation 5 running NS 3.3. Really weird! And when  
you press "Stop", it stops, but the "Stop" sign remains there, frozen, until  
you press the back arrow, and only then does the magnifying glass icon  
reappear.
