Hi, all.

As alredy mentioned, apache_0.8.14, cern3.0, ncsa httpd1.4.2, all
these can be compiled on next3.2 i386, as I have done.

Previous version of apache required slight amount of editing of the
source codes, so you should choose the latest one which gives no
warning message during compilation.

If you would like to choose cern httpd, do not forget to download
libwww. You need to compile libs together when you compile http
daemon. You have to edit Makefile if you are compiling cern httpd
on i386 next; you have to delete -arch m68k clag. You also have to
comment out the line starting with www as you will see.

ncsa httpd is easily compiled.

As proxy, you can also use delegate in
ftp://wall.etl.go.jp/pub/DeleGate/
which has various intersting features such as nntp-http gateway,
including network character code filter including mime decoding,
and proxy, caching, and so on.

nntp-http gateway is realised at my site,

as you can see.
