Pasting as RTF

I'm currently using OmniOutliner 2.2.6. I often need to copy and paste
outline into e-mail messages, but perhaps I haven't been doing much of
that lately. I never had a problem with it before, but now I am.

Instead of getting *text* pasted into e-mail programs -- I'm using
Entourage, used to use Apple Mail (and still do, back and forth) -- I
get RTF. So I see the graphical disclosure triangles and bullets one
would see if one were to export OO docs to RTF. I don't get the dashes
and asterisks and other formatting I would expect when pasting to text
only.

I also tried pasting into BBEdit 6.5, which I was sure would strip the
formatting. It did not. BBEdit displayed the RTF version of the
document.

The only way I found quickly (I didn't try a lot) was to drop to
Terminal and run this command:

	pbpaste > ~/Desktop/text.txt

... and the resulting text file was plain text, thankfully. I opened
that, copied and pasted it, and got it into the e-mail message I was
composing.

Is this now expected? Can I turn this off? (I couldn't see anything
relevant in the preferences.) I hardly ever need to paste RTF.

Thanks!
