I've been using a script which will take individual levels and assign
to them arbitrary HTML code, which here you could use to produce
numbered lists nested inside numbered lists, so far as I can tell...
I wish I could claim the credit for writing it, but at least it'll
help. It was intended as a renderer for Radio, I think, but hey, I
used it to produce a newsletter to send to my dorm, and you can
probably use it for this.
See http://www.redmonk.net/stories/omniOutlineRenderers/ -- it'll
give you a good sense of what you're looking at doing, and it does it
pretty well, at least for my purposes, and will spit HTML out at you
(I've modified the script to spit out a file, but I think by default
it goes into the clipboard).
Good luck!
