Do you use Equation Service for LaTeX work normally ? I mean, do you include your equations in your LaTeX input files as graphical objects rather than "entering them by hand" (so to speak) ?

A general word of caution about the forthcoming OO->LaTeX export: Do not expect too much. If this maps outliner structure to LaTeX Document Class structure well, then we should (IMO) be happy with that. Anything more is likely to either not work well, or only work in specific situations.

For the specific issue here, I doubt that there will be any management of OO3 "attachments" as LaTeX "floats" (though I could be wrong). I'm also not sure that there is much to be gained by seeking to optimize the display/storage of EquationService generated graphics in OO3 for re-use in LaTeX documents. If going down this road (OO3 attachments -> LaTeX floats), I think I would just link to the equation service file from the OO file (unless you need it inline for presentation purposes), then your path to file will be there in your LaTeX input file (I assume) so that you can "include" it easily.
