Cloning would allow this, right? You might have to have "inter-outline" 
cloning... I imagine one "calendar-centric" outline that sorts and 
groups by date due, drawing from perhaps several "project-centric" 
outlines.

This would have many applications.

I have this exact same situation, and wish, as well... sounds like many 
do.
