columns and numbering in parts of rows only?

Is there a possibility to have columns in selected parts of an 
outline only or could it be introduced in the final version? This 
would be a most elegant way to have table within text. The tables 
would have to be tranformed in html-tables in the respective output. 
I searched for such a possibility but could not find it.

The same problem exists for numbering. Often I would like to number 
only a section of an outline or to number sections differently, also 
to simply omiot the numbering set for this or that row.

So my question are: (1) did I overlook these two capabilities while 
they exist? (2) if they do not exist now, is omni-group willing to 
add them in future releases?
