Problem with download, quiting OmniWeb

After downloading a file from the ftp:// protocol, I sometimes  
'forget' to move it out of the download directory before quiting  
OmniWeb.  Well, lo and behold, what happens but everything I just  
brought down gets wiped right out of the directory on the quit.   
Anyone else have this problem?  I've also got Opener in my path, so  
all these compressed files are automatically unzipped when the file  
transfer is complete.  The only problem there is that Opener now  
ends up trying to dump multiple copies of the on extracted file into  
/tmp/O_?.

I have a feeling that these two problems are related in some way:
   the call passing the file information to Workspace Manager is  
making these multiple calls
