gopher proxy problems

I just set up a gopher proxy to point at the CERN 3.0 server, and it worked  
perfectly.  Perhaps someone could send me a log of their proxy server to  
see what it's getting?  My log entry looks like this:

ocelot - - [02/Mar/1995:15:41:34 -0800] "GET  
gopher://gopher.micro.umn.edu/11/Other%20Gopher%20and%20Information%20Servers  
HTTP/1.0" 200 2862

which looks to me like OmniWeb isn't responsible for losing the "g" in "gopher".

If someone will help me reproduce the problem, I'll fix it.  (Were there  
any other problems with proxies, other than the lost gopher "g"?)  As it is,  
I can't find a problem.
