<TEXTAREA> limitations

So the idea here was that the user (an adminstrator) would be  
presented with the wan-wide bootp table. This would be one of many  
options for editing/changing/adding/removing bootp entries.

I wanted to present it in a single editable <textarea> so that the  
file could be re-written back in one shot.

I've also assumed that the adminstrator would probally prefer to  
use the menuing system. This would be used for odd-ball items like  
adding
a sub-net, moving a bag-o-clients from one subnet to another.

Up to now I've tried the following:

	Omniweb		-	Crashes & burns
	SpiderWoman	-	Sucks , Crashes & burns
	Netscape/win	-	sometimes crashes, sometime burns
	Netscape/AIX	-	fails after 3-4k of data
	OS2 Webexplorer	-	can't display the whole table, but
				did get it, can't send it back
				complete.
				
So now I've given up on the idea of the massive <textarea> and have  
gone off to develop the other sections. But I still want it to  
work!
