Handling bad comments

Hi.
I think this one has come up before, but among the many modifications to
handle bad HTML, it would be great if you could handle comments that
aren't closed properly. E.g:
<!-- This is bad html>
OW 1.0 never closes the comment, so it doesn't display the rest of the page.
There's an example on http://rjohara.uncg.edu/welcome.html. (I have
already reported the error to the webmaster, so there's no need to bug
him further.)
Again, no criticism of OW implied. This is bad html. But it would be
great if OW could handle it gracefully.
