  The tool that you are refering to doesn't do this (unless Ken got  
truly studly).  It makes a static library with a jump table for a  
shlib.  We probably could make a tool that produces a fully  
independant lib from a shlib.  Doing so would probably be poor  
judgment, though, since it would no doubt violate the NS licensing  
agreement.
