Version 2 beta -- When?

I vaguely remember reading that OmniWeb 2.0 would be released, if not at
least introduced, at or about the objectworld show in August. Either that
hasn't happened, or you've done a good job of hiding your trails, 'cause I
haven't heard much of anything since then.

So, what's the good word? I know we can expect lots of changes in the new
version, and I understand that you're reluctant to let it out the door until
you're sure it's pretty stable, but how long before it'll be ready for
testing? I surf from home, over a 14.4 modem link, and I'm just DYING for
incremental display of images (as well as several other fixes/features that I
won't go into now).

And, besides, I can't read vidiot's StarTrek schedules w/out table support....

[ps -- my PPP link is so flaky that I really wouldn't mind using an ALPHA
version of the new software--I even promise not to distribute it or to
complain too loudly when it crashes (hell, I'll even fire up gdb and give you
context information!)]
