Is <address> font or format.

  I have seen differences in the way <address> is implemented between
different browsers and different versions of Omniweb.  Is it a font
style or a paragraph style.

eg.
<pre>
<address>
some
text
</address>
</pre>

  These few line produce different results on different browsers.  Some
have two separate lines with sort of italic font, Omniweb takes the
two lines and appends them together to one line as a paragraph style
ignoring the <pre>.

  Could someone shed some light on this.
