Directories when using file: URLs

When one references an http://machine.site.domain/blah/blah/ sort of URL, one
would expect to get the file index.html, or a generated directory listing. This
translation is a default behavior of most, if not all http servers.

When one references a file://localhost/blah/blah/ sort of URL, one
would expect to get the file index.html if it's there, instead of always getting
a generated directory listing.

Since OmniWeb (or any browser) is basically simulating an http server when
using a file: URL, it seems like the directory/ to directory/index.html
translation would be the correct thing to do. At least it should be an option.
